Company Overview
#

Zephyros Electronics (ZPR) designs core electronic components and systems for AI and robotics. Robots pack motors, sensors, and radios into a small body, and the dense wiring causes electromagnetic noise, heat, and power loss. Zephyros addresses this with smaller and more efficient filters, modules, and boards. The company was founded in 2025 and runs a head office and an R&D center in Seoul. Its work rests on three capabilities: AI-based hardware design automation, embedded PCB technology that places passive components inside the board, and simulation that closely matches physical measurement.

Technology & Product
#

The business has three product lines. The first is energy-efficient low-power solutions: EMI filters that combine passive and RF design, plus a next-generation hybrid filter for robot cabling that is still in development. The hybrid design aims to shrink the filter to about one tenth of a conventional passive filter and to raise power efficiency from 90% to 92% by recovering noise energy and lowering insertion loss. It also includes surge suppression for high-power use.

The second line is sensor and wireless integrated modules. Zephyros builds inductors and capacitors directly into the PCB lamination process and packages several RF and sensor parts into one composite module. The company states 98% design accuracy up to 20 GHz, which lets it reach a working design in one iteration instead of the 30 to 50 iterations common in filter design.

The third line is a robotics and AI edge computing module. It integrates its own power stage, wireless modules, and sensor interfaces on one board, runs JetPack with ROS, and targets about half the size and 30% lower power than a standard edge AI board with the same processing speed.

Behind all three lines is an in-house design automation platform. It automates structure design and drafting for filters and embedded components and works together with electromagnetic simulation, so that a part can go from concept to PoC in a short time.

Market & Use Cases
#

The main target is robot makers and their component suppliers, including humanoid, service, and industrial robots where space, heat, and EMC margins are tight. The same filter technology applies to home appliances, electric vehicles, and mobile sensor and communication modules. In automotive, the most relevant use cases are EMC filtering for power electronics, compact wireless and sensor modules, and faster filter design for ECUs and high-voltage systems. Hardware teams that lose time on repeated EMC redesign are also potential users of the design automation capability.

Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation invested in Zephyros in July 2026 as one of six deep-tech startups; the amount was not disclosed(WowTale). Korea Investment Accelerator presented the company as a portfolio company at the 5th New Front Corp Day at COEX in May 2026, where it was introduced as a supplier of EMI filters, Wi-Fi modules, and phased array antennas with AI-based design automation(VentureSquare). Zephyros also pitched at the 2026 BoomUP Grand Challenge in HUB demo day at Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok, and it is developing robot power wiring modules, robot skin, and sensor-communication composite modules(Tech42). The company holds Korean venture company certification(NICE BizInfo) and operates its R&D center at Seoul Startup Hub. It takes part in the Mercedes-Benz startup program run with the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development (KISED), in the Ansys-linked ASK track.

Collaboration Relevance

Zephyros fits automotive OEMs, tier-1 suppliers, and robot makers that need smaller and more efficient EMC filtering or integrated sensor and wireless modules. A practical PoC would be to redesign an existing filter or RF module for a given power or signal line, then compare size, efficiency, and EMC test results with the current part. Because the design flow relies on electromagnetic simulation, it suits partners that already work with simulation-driven development and want fewer hardware iterations. The company is young and part of its portfolio is still in development, so joint development and sample evaluation are more realistic first steps than volume supply. For European partners, Zephyros offers a Korea-based design and prototyping partner for robotics and EV electronics.
