Company Overview#
RightRoute turns waste materials into higher-value products. Its TEXNIC platform upcycles EV and secondary battery separator waste into textile materials for fashion, interior, and automotive uses.
TEXNIC is a premium recycled material. It uses useful features of battery separator membranes and turns them into functional fabrics and yarns.
Technology & Product#
RightRoute works with lithium-ion battery separator waste, including LiBS and ceramic coated separators. These materials are hard to recycle because UHMWPE has very high molecular weight, high viscosity, and difficult molding properties. Much of this waste is usually downcycled, incinerated, or landfilled.
RightRoute’s proprietary processes convert this waste into:
- TEXNIC laminated fabric made with lamination, surface processing, and low-temperature bonding.
- TEXNIC yarn made with separator slitting and winding technology.
- Functional material lines such as TEXNIC Shell, Pack, Grit, and Nuvo.
Market & Use Cases#
TEXNIC targets premium recycled textile uses in fashion, interior, and automotive markets.
The material offers moisture permeability, waterproofing, low density, high tensile strength, and durability. It also gives brands a clear recycled-material story.
